Every cancellation made on bookings of Yathir is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class. Some booked fares may be non-refundable as per the specific airline's policy. In addition to the airline's cancellation charges, Yathir charges a service fee of AED 30 per passenger per journey for all cancellations.
Only cancellation requests made through our customer service email or via telephone shall be entertained. Yathir shall not be liable for any cancellation requests made through any other medium including (but not limited to) letter mail, social media, etc. Currently we accept offline cancellations made only through phone or our customer service e-mail.
If your cancellation request is made fewer than 48 hours prior to departure, then you'll need to contact our customer support team immediately to process the refund.
If you have done an online or phone check-in (also known as a 'Web/Tele Check-in') with the airline, then get in touch with the airline for cancellation. Yathir will not be able to process the refund for such requests.
A non-refundable service fee will be charged for all low-cost airlines such as flydubai, flynas, Air Arabia, Jazeera Airways, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Cebu Pacific Air, Air India Express etc.
All amendments come at a fee that varies from airline to airline. In addition to this fee, Yathir charges an amendment handling fee of AED 30 per passenger per sector. We’ll collect these charges from you when we make changes to your travel plans. We’ll also collect the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made. Processing time for cancellation and refund requests vary depending on airlines and their fare rules. Yathir shall refund your booking amount after deducting Yathir's cancellation charges as well as airline's cancellation charges. We will credit the refund back to the same account you used while making the booking. For example, if you used your credit card, we will make an appropriate charge reversal. If you used your debit card, we will credit the refund back to your debit card account.
We usually process the refund within 4 working days of cancellation. However, it may take slightly longer to reflect in your account statement depending upon your bank. In the past we’ve noticed that it takes about 14 working days for most refunds to hit their respective accounts.
